My presentation seeks to educate on the concept of Intersectionality. It will begin by defining intersectionality and helping the participants to understand how social and political identities combine to create different modes of discrimination/oppression and privilege. I will then show a slide, consisting a photo of my face, and listing my many intersecting identities. As time permits, I would like to poll the participants to help them to discover their intersectionalities.
